Zhongshan held an environment situation meeting on the afternoon of October 28 to report on and overview the air and water quality status and situation over the first three quarters of 2021.

In the first three quarters, all six conventional environmental air quality indicators reached standard and Zhongshan's comprehensive air quality index ranked 10th among 168 key cities in China and 3rd in the Pearl River Delta.

In addition, Zhongshan ranked 3rd among cities in Guangdong in the latest comprehensive water quality index report.
