In addition to the operation of 300 new buses at the end of 2008, the public transport network welcomed its new members yesterday: another 200 buses, which symbolizes the accomplishment of the task in the 2008 Public Transport Development Conference that 500 buses would be added to fuel the present transport force in the following two years. Mayor Li Qihong, Vice Executive Mayor Deng Xiaobing and Secretary General of the municipal People’s Government He Zhenzhang presented at the New Buses Launching Ceremony.

The new buses are installed with various advanced equipments, such as environment-friendly engine and air-conditioning, intelligent bus terminal, hard-disk video monitoring system, electronic signs, phonetic and text bus-stop announcement equipments, and IC card reader.
