A seminar “Integrated Circuit (IC) Industry Development of Zhongshan Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Pearl River Delta Region” was held in Zhongshan on Dec. 15th. Shenzhen Base of National IC Design and Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone signed a contract on construction of Zhongshan Park of Shenzhen IC Base. Both parties will strive to promote the development of electronic chips in Zhongshan, expanding the market in the upper section. Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone mainly aims at the development of IC design and IC packaging and testing

The planned Zhongshan IC Park will be built into a public service platform, aiming at the IC market in Pearl River Delta Region, and attract 8-12 companies of IC design with an annual turnover of 300 million yuan in IC industry in 2013, and over 20 companies with over 1 billion yuan in 2015.
