With a vegetable area of more than 20,000 mu, Minzhong has the largest vegetable production base in Zhongshan in spite of the developing of industrialization and urbanization.

Due to crossed water networks, fertile land and environmental protection, vegetable industry is able to become the pillar of agriculture in Minzhong. With policy support, the town spares no efforts in establishing the infrastructures to improve agricultural conditions and cultivation techniques by equipping automatic facilities and applying mechanization.

One feature of vegetable production in Minzhong is connecting plantations together to fulfill planting scale. In addition, the town is attempting to carry out industrial operation of “Company plus Farmers” to increase vegetable production and circulation and grantee vegetable quality.
