Lin Mingyi had always wanted to start a business since he left his hometown at the age of 17. He came to Zhongshan 13 years ago and, over the last decade, he has found that Zhongshan's business environment is steadily improving and his neighbors and customers have been very friendly. Now he just wants to dedicate himself to operating his shops and serving more people.

Born in Chaoshan area, Lin Mingyi once worked and started his own business in Shenzhen. He came to Zhongshan 10 years later because of some of his family living here.

After staying in Zhongshan for a few months, Lin felt a "sense of belonging". "Somehow, I feel very comfortable working and living in Zhongshan. I really feel at home." Lin said.

In just a few years, Lin opened 2 shops and bought a house. Over the years, he has won a good reputation for his optical shops with pragmatic business philosophy.

Lin said that in Zhongshan, the cost of running a business and living is lower than that in Shenzhen. With the implementation of preferential policies, it is increasingly convenient to start a business with lower operating costs, which makes him feel much satisfied.
