Zhongshan Senya Trading Co Ltd recently procured more than 1,800 ceiling lights, chandeliers and other lighting products from several lighting companies in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan to transfer for export.

As one of the fourth batch of pilot cities featuring market purchasing trade, Zhongshan expanded the scope of export commodities through this trade mode in 2020. Various types of bulk cargo, such as lighting, toys, hardware and small household appliances can be combined and quickly exported this way.

In January this year, the frequency and the value of market procurement export goods supervised by Zhongshan Port Customs increased by 2.9 times and 3.2 times respectively. "This method has many advantages such as simple declaration procedures, fast customs clearance, and direct foreign exchange collection by enterprises. It can effectively help companies facing the adverse effects of the pandemic on foreign trade stabilize the market and secure orders," said Mr Huang, customs declarer of Zhongshan Senya Trading Co Ltd.
