Zhongshan Tsuihang New District recently issued "several measures on further promoting enterprises to resume work and increase production. In view of the challenges caused by the epidemic, such as enterprises' difficulties in resuming work and recruiting, employees' difficulties in returning to their workplace and a shortage of materials, Tsuihang New District has arranged a budget of 50 million yuan and issued 11 policies to help stabilize employment and aid enterprises so as to ensure the completion of this year's construction and development tasks.

In order to relieve the pressure on enterprises to pay rent and repay loans caused by the epidemic, the measures issued contain related policies. 

Specifically, qualified small and micro enterprises will be given up to 300,000 yuan in loans with interest subsidies. 

The rent of enterprises will be also reduced. The Tsuihang New District Administrative Committee and state-owned enterprises' asset-based business premises (factories, warehouses, shops, commercial office buildings, etc) will fully reduce the rentals for February and March of qualified lessees.

Social owners and tenants are encouraged to tide over the difficulties together, and qualified owners will be given a one-time non-committed subsidy of up to 500,000 yuan.

The measures focus on rewarding employing and service agencies, and supporting enterprises to resume work and increase production through online job fairs. At the same time, direct subsidies will be granted to enterprises that recruit new employees on their own, and employment agencies that help enterprises with recruitment.

The measures also encourage enterprises to actively participate in epidemic control and outstanding units will be rewarded. Specifically, a one-time award of 10 million yuan will be given to enterprises or teams that develop effective vaccines or specific therapeutic drugs, detection technologies, or detection equipment for COVID-19 and have made significant scientific and technological innovations for the fight against the epidemic.
