The 2011 Zhongshan "3.28" Investment and Trade Fair will be held on March 28. At the same time, the exhibition of the commercialization of research findings and creative design service will show the achievements from the universities and scientific research institutes, which implemented industry-university research cooperation (IURC) in recent years.

Zhongshan has carried out IURC for 5 years, and also set up good cooperative relations with more than 100 universities and research institutes of Chinese Academy of Sciences. 200 platforms for technological innovation and research have been set up; over 800 cooperation projects of IURC have been launched; enterprises have invested more than 2 billion yuan and the accumulated output has reached 70 billion yuan.

It is reported that 70 projects will debut on the exhibition including the auto visual microprocessor system (DSP) developed by Steelmate Co., Ltd.
