It is reported that the 2011 Plastics and Rubber Trade Fair will be held from 17-20 May at China Import & Export Fair’s Pazhou Complex. The 2011 fair still holds the theme “Shaping the future world together”, advocating through live demonstration the concepts of “energy conservation and pollution reduction”, “low carbon”, “recycling”, and “biodegradable plastics”. More than 20 enterprises in Zhongshan registered for the fair. The registered enterprises include Zhongshan Chuang Lih Fa Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Fong Kee Machinery Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Costar Machinery Co., Ltd., and Zhongshan Sotech Packing Machinery Co., Ltd.

Guangdong is the leading province in plastics industry in China, and the Pearl River Delta area congregated 75% of Guangdong’s plastics industry. Clusters of plastics industries with regional features are gradually taking shape, which plays an important role in upgrading Guangdong’s plastics industry. At present, plastics industry and its related industries are growing rapidly in Gaoming District of Foshan, Shunde, Shantou and Zhognshan.
