The prizes of fairs and exhibitions were awarded recently by the Eighth China Fairs and Exhibitions Summit. The China International Food Industry Economic and Trade Fair hosted in Huangpu Town, Zhongshan was awarded the prize of brand fair of the first decade in the new century. The International Exhibition Center of Huangpu was awarded the prize of “Excellent Exhibition Venue in China, 2010”.

The food fair, the only fair in Zhongshan approved by the Ministry of Commerce has been successfully held for six times. It is characterized by the multitude of exhibitors, purchasers, successful trade as well as good economic returns. It is internationally advantageous, evoking strong repercussion both at home and abroad. The six food fairs have altogether attracted more than 6, 000 purchasing groups to participate and more than 50, 000 professional buyers. Every year, there are more than 100, 000 ordinary visitors to the fair. The total value of investment and trade projects reached about 3 billion US dollars.
