A new factory of Guangdong Meiweixian Flavouring Foods Co., Ltd. was established and put into production in the afternoon of Oct. 25th, in the Health Base of Zhongshan Torch Development Zone, with its annual sales being expected to reach 5 billion Yuan.

Since 2006, Meiweixian has invested 500 million Yuan to set up a Chubang Soy Sauce production base in the Health Base of Zhongshan Torch Development Zone, its annual production capability being 500,000 ton. The new factory covers an area of 338 mu, and is an exclusively-invested enterprise of Jonjee Hi-Tech, a listed company in Zhongshan. The company, formally Shiqi Sauce Factory, dated from late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. In 1987, it was integrated into Zhongshan Meiweixian Food Factory, and in 2000 it was reformed into Guangdong Meiweixian Flavoring Foods Co., Ltd. By October in this year, the sales of the company have exceeded 1 billion Yuan, and its Chubang brand has been awarded some famous titles such as China Top Brand, The Banquet Soy Sauce for the Great Hall of the People and so on.
