The 3rd Zhongshan Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition for International Overseas Chinese Youth concluded on November 15 after the grand final.

Project "AssemChip Guangdong - Fingerprint Identification AI Chip for New Energy Power Battery" won the gold award of the competition, receiving a bonus of 100,000 yuan.

Five projects, including "Application and Industrialization of Biological Enzyme Mutation Technology in Innovative Traditional Chinese Medicine" and "Application of Ionic Liquid and Its E-antistatic Field" won the silver and bronze awards, with bonuses of 50,000 yuan and 20,000 yuan respectively.

This year's competition attracted 477 projects provided by over 3,200 participants from more than 30 countries and regions, covering a wide range of cutting-edge technology areas such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and new materials.

Over the past three years, the Zhongshan Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition for International Overseas Chinese Youth attracted over 1,000 projects and more than 10,000 participants, drawing a total investment of over 250 million yuan.
