The Gangkou Commendation Conference for High-quality Economic Development, along with an investment promotion and trade fair, was held on December 3.

During the event, Gangkou Town commended a batch of outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises with great contributions.

Thirty-two projects were signed at the conference, including 16 newly introduced industrial projects, 8 for new types of business and 8 industrial park renovation projects, with a total intended investment of over 7.8 billion yuan.

In the first three quarters of 2023, Gangkou Town achieved a regional GDP of 6.82 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. The added value of industries above designated size reached 2.516 billion yuan, up 8.9% year-on-year. The fixed investment increased 46.9% year-on-year, and the industrial investment rose 101.2% year-on-year.
