Improving the quality of manufacturing industry in Zhongshan is one of the key contents in the Action Plan of Building Zhongshan into a Quality-oriented City in 2017. In response to the call of “intelligent manufacturing in China 2025”, Zhongshan has been developing machine tools and supporting technological reforms in the enterprises to improve the transformation and upgrading from Zhongshan manufacturing to quality-oriented Zhongshan intelligent manufacturing.

Both the traditional and the high-end manufacturing have been striving for quality improvement via machine tools these years to follow the new consumption trend, which creates a favorable situation in both machine tools and technology reforms in Zhongshan which has been developing equipment manufacturing industry and encouraging smart manufacturing in the enterprises. The technological reform, the advanced equipment manufacturing, and the new public service platform will be built into the three engines to drive the industrial and economic development in the city.
