An engineer at ZTE Corporation was demonstrating the features of its newest mobile phone.

Yesterday, Mayor Chen Liangxian led a delegation of cadres from the government and the Party committee to visit Shenzhen, where they were warmly met by Party Secretary Ma Xingrui of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and the two sides had an in-depth exchange of ideas about how to deepen cooperation and promote the construction of SZ-ZS Express Way.

Ma mentioned that Shenzhen and Zhongshan are important members in the Pearl River Delta regions because of their location respectively along the eastern and western banks of Pearl River and the two cities have forged a close bond during these years of cooperation. He continued to point out that manufacturing industry in Zhongshan, boasting of a solid foundation and unique characteristics, is complementary to the pillar industries in Shenzhen, so the cooperation between SZ and ZS not only means a lot to the two cities concerned but also to the Pearl River Delta regions. “The SZ-ZS Express Way is the most-awaited co-op project” said Ma, “so we hope that the two cities can join forces together and accomplish the construction of this major infrastructure project as soon as possible.”
