The summit on innovation and technology industry in Hong Kong and the PRD was held in Hong Kong on 13-14 April, 2015.

The township leaders made a visit to HKPC. 

Township leaders from Xiaolan and Guzhen, upon the invitation of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU), attended the CAE-HKAES Joint Summit on Innovation and Technology Industry in Hong Kong and the PRD held in Hong Kong on 13-14 April, 2015. Besides, they made a visit to Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) to seek for co-op opportunities with HK.

The delegates expressed that inspired by the lectures made by professors in HKPU, they have gained some new insights into where the innovation and technology industry will go and how the government is supposed to serve it.

“As a township leader, I have few chances to study in Hong Kong or Macau. I benefit a lot from this summit because it enables me to understand the trends in innovation and technology industry and inspires me to think about our own models to develop innovation and technology.” One attendant said.
