Major Chen Liangxian met with Wu Liangfeng, General Manager of Uni-President Enterprises Corporation’s food manufacturing department yesterday morning. Municipal leaders Hou Yibin and Li Jun were present at the meeting.

Wu Liangfeng’s Zhongshan visit aimed at analyzing and evaluating the investment environment of Zhongshan, especially Cuiheng New District. It is revealed that Uni-President Enterprises Corporation plans to build the second food manufacturing base in the Pearl River Delta. Chen Liangxian visited Uni-President Enterprises Corporation last September when leading an economic and trade delegation to Taiwan.

Chen Liangxian introduced at yesterday’s meeting the investment prospects of Cuiheng New District and the transportation advantages of Zhongshan such as the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, Zhongshan-Kaiping Expressway, Shenzhen-Maoming Railway. Chen hoped that Uni-President Enterprises Corporation can establish its new and high-tech products manufacturing base in Zhongshan.
