Party and Government delegation from Shantou came to Zhongshan yesterday and visited Planning Hall of Cuiheng New District and Ming Yang Wind Power Group accompanied by Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng and Mayor Chen Liangxian.

Party and Government Delegation from Shantou, headed by Shantou Party Secretary Chen Maohui and Mayor Zheng Renhao, came to Zhongshan yesterday. Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng and Mayor Chen Liangxian met with the delegation and exchanged views on future development.

Chen Maohui transferred from Mayor of Zhongshan to Party Secretary of Shantou in Nov. 2012. Xue, on behalf of Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee and People’s Government, extends warm welcome to the visit of Shantou delegation as well as to Chen Maohui back to Zhongshan. Chen says that he is very delighted to see the rapid social and economic development in Zhongshan in the past two years. Shantou will learn from Zhongshan in large platform construction, industrial transformation and upgrading, beautification of the urban environment, and the innovative spirit. He expects the two cities will strengthen industrial cooperation, strive for more support, and realize transformation at a high level based on overseas Chinese resources.
