Zhongshan Industrial Technological Renovation Investment Conference was held on Oct. 21st. Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng and Mayor Chen Liangxian came to Nanlang Town and Torch High-tech Development Zone to inspect the advanced enterprises in technological renovation.

Investment Conference for Fastening Equipment Manufacturing Industry & Industrial Technological Renovation in Zhongshan was held yesterday. In the morning, the municipal, township, and department officials and over 100 entrepreneurs headed by Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng and Mayor Chen Liangxian come to inspect the advanced enterprises in technological renovation. A seminar is held in the afternoon to convey the spirit of the relevant meetings and deploy relevant work. By doing this, the municipal People’s Government and Party Committee try to display the advantage of flat-styled administrative system in Zhongshan and pass on the latest policy directly to the grass-root enterprises.

Technological renovation has been widely popularized in real economy in Zhongshan in recent two years. Since 2012, the industry with certain scale has reduced the number of labor forces by nearly 163,000 via technological renovation, and raised productivity by about 20%. Zhongshan has invested 5.6 billion yuan in technological renovation from January to August this year, up by 78.1% compared with the same period last year, ranking No. 2 in growth rate in PRD area.
