Chinese tunic suit is a kind of costume designed and created by the great man Sun Yat-sen. On November 12, the Zhongshan Textile Engineering Society and Guangdong Textile Association jointly released the Standard for Handmade Production of Chinese Tunic Suit.

The standard, which sets forth the definition of handmade products, production requirements, production specifications, and inspection methods of Chinese tunic suits, will take effect on January 1, 2020. It is the first group standard on Chinese tunic suits ever issued in China.

The drafting units for this standard are Zhongshan Junpin Dress Co Ltd, Zhongshan Mnserno Dress Co Ltd, Zhongshan Chinese Times Dress Co Ltd, Guangdong Institute of Standardization, Guangdong Institute of Analysis (China National Analytical Center, Guangzhou), Zhongshan Polytechnic, Shaxi Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, Guangdong Textile Association, Guangdong Textile Engineering Association, and other institutions.
