Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng met with Colin Peyton, senior vice president of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., one of Fortune Global 500 companies yesterday. Its branch Air Products and Gas (Zhongshan) decided to settle down in Fusha Town in July, 2012. Its construction began in Dec. 31, 2007, ended in Feb. 2014, and has gone into operation since yesterday. The visit of Colin is to inspect the project, and discuss cooperation in its expansion and further investment of phase II and III with Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government and Party Committee. Colin says that they have inspected quite a few places for the project, taking into consideration of environment, transportation, population, industry, etc. The choice of Zhongshan is greatly due to efficiency of the government. “Many of our projects are built in China and the one in Zhongshan is the fastest.” says he.
