Mingyang succeeds to get a 400-Euro Romanian contract

Witnessed by Li Keqiang and Ponta, Zhang Chuanwei signed the agreement with Bobby Paunescu.

Mingyang Group and Romania’s Paunescu signed an agreement on development of 200mv wind power and supply of equipment as well as Project EPC on the 25th. The total investment reaches about 400 Euros. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, who was visiting Romania and Romanian Prime Minister Ponta witnessed the signing ceremony.

According to Mingyang Group, It has been the largest contract on exporting wind power equipment in China. The contract will start at the beginning of 2014 and it plans to complete 100MW by the end of 2014 and all the left by June 2015. According to the agreement, Mingyang will export 2MW large impeller diameter blowers it has developed and main parts, as well as technological and operating supports for the project.

President of Mingyang Group Zhang Chuanwei tells that Paunescu is large Rumanian group which has achieved great progress in new energy. Romania provides fairly favorable wind resources and policies and the contract will have an positive influence on further development in Central and Eastern Europe as well as the CIS countries.
