Party Secretary Xue Xiaofeng met with Peter Walker, Asian CEO of ThyssenKrupp recently, talking about the new investment of a factory in Zhongshan. Xue expects Tyssen Kruppt to focus their materials on Zhongshan and upgrade its level to an enterprise with a production value of 10 billion yuan .

ThyssenKrupp settled down in Zhongshan in 1995, and has built 3 factories. Till now, the production value in Zhongshan has reached nearly 7 billion yuan with an annual increase of 20% to 30%. By the end of 2012, it signed with the office of Southern District Government a contract of investing a 400-million-yuan factory, including logistics center, international research center, and top-notch high-speed elevator testing tower, etc. Its production value in Zhongshan is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan when the new factory goes into production in 2015.
