Consul General of Singaporean Consulate in Guangzhou witnesses the signing of a project in New Cuiheng District

Deputy mayor Feng Yurong met with Mr. Loh Tuck Wai , Consul General of Singaporean Consulate in Guangzhou

At the signing ceremony of Project New Cuiheng District-Colibri Precise Optical and Electrical Automation.

Mr. Loh Tuck Wai , Consul General of Singaporean Consulate in Guangzhou led Guangdong Branch Delegation of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Singapore to visit Zhongshan on November 15. Deputy mayor Feng Yurong met with them and exchanged about the cooperation in Project New Cuiheng District. This was the second time that Consul General Loh Tuck Wai had visited Zhongshan since September this year. He aimed to lead Singaporean companies and their branches in Guangdong to pay a field visit to New Cuiheng District in hopes to enhance the exchange and cooperation.

Under the efforts of Singaporean General Consulate in Guangzhou and Guangdong Branch of Singaporean Chamber of Commerce in China, Colibri Company and New Cuiheng District had reached an agreement. On that afternoon, deputy mayor Feng Yurong and General Consul Loh Tuck Wai witnessed the signing ceremony for Project New Cuiheng District-Colibri Precise Optical and Electrical Automation. According to the agreement, Colibri will invest 500 million yuan in New Cuiheng District in research and development of precise optical and electrical automotive equipment as well as the construction of Colibri headquarters. Colibri’s project will further promote New Cuiheng District to be more advanced in industrial structure, centralized in industrial clusters, and competitive in high-level industries.
