In the first half year, Zhongshan’s import and export has rebounded sharply, showing rapid and sustainable growth. According to the statistics, as much as 21,4227 batches of goods has been checked for the first six month at Zhongshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, increasing by 20.27 percent than that of last year, with a total value as USD 7.85 billion, increasing by 32.98 percent. Among that, 9 companies’ exportation value exceeded 100 million, almost twice compared with 5 companies in last year.

Business of the first half year was highlighted as follows, firstly, sustainable growth was observed from January to July. Secondly, key companies perform very well. Thirdly, the export volume to major targeted markets like USA and ASEAN showed obvious growth. Fourthly, exportation of traditional commodity rebounded, including home appliance, textiles and garments, toys and home furniture, among that, export of home appliance increased over 40 percent.
