John Peter, President of Luvata Group (the world’s leading metal industry group) paid a visit to Zhongshan yesterday. The company will invest about 100 million yuan in its company in Huangpu Town to add a production line of heat transfer machine, which are expected to create over 300-million-yuan output value per year upon its completion.

Products of the 400-year-old Luvata Group are widely used in many fields, such as air conditioning, electronic equipment, medical equipment, electricity and electronics, and construction industries. It has six companies in China, three of which are located in Huangpu Town, including Luvata Brass, Luvata heat transfer machines, with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan. Last year, the output value of the companies in Huangpu Town reached more than 3 billion yuan. At the first half of this year, sales volume of copper pipes has increased by 70 percent, and sales of heat transfer machines increased by more than 200 percent, doubling in both profits and taxes.
