GMG has signed the contract involving four ocean engineering ships with Tidewater Inc., the world’s largest ocean engineering ship-owner recently. The 58.7m-long ships will be built all at the same time, a new record in Zhongshan shipbuilding history. The vehicles are mostly applied on ocean platforms and are expected to launch at the end of June.

GMG Shipbuilding & Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. has been building ships for more than 40 years. It establishes close relationship with quite a many ship-owners, shipbuilders, classification societies, equipment suppliers across the world. GMG Shipbuilding & Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. has introduced a large gantry crane from Guangzhou after signing the contract. It is 50m high and able to lift a weight of 200 tons at one time, and has been the largest gantry crane in Zhongshan. A 400-ton gantry crane will be imported in the future.
