Cuiheng New District is building a high-quality integrative development sub-center in the Pearl River Estuary area of the Greater Bay Area, an interconnected development area of the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and an excellent business environment in line with the Greater Bay Area development, aiming to get heavily involved in the Greater Bay Area construction.

"We plan to establish cooperation platforms with Nansha, Qianhai and Hengqin to promote industrial innovation and collaboration, highlight characteristic industrial clusters, and develop a staggered development city cluster", said a spokesperson of Cuiheng New District. In terms of building a high-quality integrative development sub-center, Cuiheng New District will strengthen resource sharing with Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao in science and technology innovation, and enhance interaction with the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Dongguan Neutron Science City, Guangming Science City and Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cooperation Zone for Technology and Innovation.

At the same time, Cuiheng New District will introduce resources from Hong Kong and Macao colleges and universities, build joint Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao joint laboratories and encourage in-depth cooperation on school and hospital running and co-construction of R&D platforms with the utilization of the "Life in Bay Area" program. Efforts will also be put in the construction of a demonstration innovation and entrepreneurship base for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao youth.

To increase its demonstration effect, Cuiheng New District is deepening industrial cooperation with surrounding areas in the construction of science parks, business incubators and innovative industrial clusters.

As for promoting cooperation with Hong Kong, Cuiheng New District plans to build major cooperation platforms with the utilization of unique resources from Hong Kong to explore and implement internationally innovative rules. Also, Cuiheng New District will advance cooperation in terms of higher education, research finding commercialization, service trade, high-end medical treatment and youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
