Sanjiao Kirin Team mainly consisting of pupils from Sanjiao Primary School won the silver medal at Guangdong Intangible Cultural Heritage Kirin Dance Tournament 2016 held in Zhanmutou Town, Dongguan City. 

Sanjiao Kirin Dance is a folk dance developing from local customs and totem worship, imitating imaginary beast Kirin’s move and air, aiming to prey for good weather, happiness and prosperity. Sanjiao Primary School was selected as the heritage base for the Kirin dance culture in June 2010. It invited experts to the school and started the design of Sanjiao Kirin Dance in March 2011. This school has been invited to many events and done well since December 2011.
