As the spring is around the corner, flowers has become people’s favorite theme to celebrate the coming spring. Good days lasted for the whole seven-day Spring Festival and enabled citizens to have a good time. Flowers, as an important theme of the festival, added much to the festivity in various species and large quantities. For example, as many as 2,188 cherished species were exhibited at the cherry blossom carnival in Quanlin Villa; the flower exhibition in at Qixi Village, Wuguishan were also remarkable. In addition, several traditional city parks were also decorated in new looks. Sun Wen Park, for instance, attracted many citizens with its show of large “flower lanterns”.
