Minzhong Town, dubbed as Lingnan Waterside Village, is the best maintained natural and humanistic ecologic scenic spot full of charms of a watery town. From 2007, Zhongshan began to hold Tourism and Culture Festival of Lingnan Waterside Village, including photo exhibition themed on harmonious village, high-quality agricultural products fair, local cuisine street, watery sport meeting and folk art show of waterside village. The watery sport meeting is especially worth mentioning; various matches including tug of war on the water, eel-catching contest, duck-catching contest and wife-carrying contest often draw crowds of people.
