When Chinese Lunar New Year is approaching, Sending Spring Scrolls in Districts and Towns hosted by Zhongshan Civilization Office has been carried out in 24 townships of Zhongshan and will last till Jan. 31.

The activity was held in SKP Southern District on the morning of Jan. 15^th when Huang Yanzeng, honorary president of Zhongshan Calligraphers’ Association and president of Zhongshan Wugui Calligraphy Academy, improvised spring scrolls on the scene with his writing brush to send festive blessings. Altogether about 500 spring scrolls and calligraphy of FU in Chinese character have been presented in the activity. On the same day, Shenwan held a charity sale of calligraphy, paintings, and spring scrolls, attracting over 1,000 visitors and having raised 22,893 yuan which will be used to aid poverty-stricken primary and secondary school students in Shenwan.
