The square of Dongsheng Library was bustling and hustling on Jan. 15 when the activity of Sending Spring Roll to Towns and Villages, hosted by Zhongshan Civilization Office and organized by Publicity Service Center of Culture and Sports of Dongsheng Town, was held. This is the first activity of 2017 Zhongshan Reader Culture Festival. On the same day, Zhongshan Readers’ Club (Dongsheng Branch) was founded, Sending Books to Towns and Villages activity was held, and some 500 books were donated to Dongsheng Library.

Zhongshan has launched the long-time micro-charity Donating Books to Villagers, established charity bookstores, and provided spiritual nourishment to the millions of villagers in the city.
