The Promotion and Application Plan of New-Energy Cars in Zhongshan (Draft for Comments) as been announced by Zhongshan Development and Reform Bureau. According to the draft, we will invest 1.1 billion yuan in building charging post network in 5 years. By 2020, the number of new-energy cars in Zhongshan will reach 9,500 and the charging posts over 10,000, so the ratio between charging posts and new-energy cars will exceed 1:1.
In the recent two years, Zhongshan has released a series of policies and supporting measures to promote new-energy cars. Social organs, units and residents are encouraged to buy new-energy cars and social capitals are encouraged to invest in building charging facilities for new-energy cars.
