2016 China’s Urban Comprehensive Economic Competitiveness Report has been co-released by National Academy of Economic Strategy of China Academy of Social Sciences, China Social Sciences Press, and Center for City and Competitiveness (CASS) of China Social Science recently. The comprehensive urban competitiveness of Zhongshan ranks No. 5 in Guangdong and No. 28 in China. Its air quality ranks No. 4 in Guangdong and No. 10 in China. This lays a solid foundation for Zhongshan building itself into the livable city in PRD during the 13th Five-year plan.
