The 7th Zhongshan Municipal Congress of Chinese Young Pioneers was held yesterday morning. Some 340 young pioneers, tutors, and organization staff from related departments and units attended the meeting. Director Liang Lixian of the United Front Department of Zhongshan Committee and Director Zhang Xiaoli of Young Pioneers Department of Guangdong League Committee spoke at the meeting.

According to a statement released in the meeting, in the next five years, efforts will be beefed up to strengthen the construction of the working commission of Chinese Young Pioneers at different levels?especially in providing support and guidance for the construction of young pioneer organizations in rural areas.
