On the 90th anniversary of Mr. Guo Jiadun’s birth, a retrospective exhibition of his art works is held from 16th May to 19th June in Municipal Museum.

As a member of China Artists Association and famous Zhongshan sculptor, Guo Jiadun has created a lot of characteristic sculpture works which have been unique local cultural landscape in many places, such as Female Athletes in Beijing Gym, Working at Height in bridgehead of Nanjing Yangtze River, Wushu in Beijing Workers Gym and Never Giving up in Asian Games Center.

Mr. Guo Jiaduan loved the hometown very much and specially created a large-scale sculpture Long Men for Zhongshan Gym in 1998. His wife Gao Fengxian donated over 300 his works to Zhongshan Museum in accordance with his last wishes in 2015.
