Zhongshan Municipal General Secretary Xue Xiaofeng ordered days ago, “the Civil Bureau shall organize towns and districts well to help the people in need and send care of the party and government to citizens, especially the poor group to help them get rid of hunger and cold.

The governments are active in sending help to people in need during the Spring Festival in city and town levels. They send 654 work teams to visit minimum living allowance receivers, low-income families, the helpless people and elderly people living alone, as well as cold-wave-stricken farmer families. They send about 3.9 million yuan and gift (worth 1.46 million yuan) to 14497 people of 7387 families.

During the Spring Festival, the municipal and town governments will keep organizing workers on duty to visit the people in urgent need and guarantee them to have enough food and keep warm.
