"Zhongshan makes the best of its geographical advantages and actively participates in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area..." On the evening of February 13, a piece of news entitled "Guangdong's Zhongshan Takes Active Part in the Development of the GBA" was aired on CNTV News. The 1-minute-and-25-second video introduced three actions Zhongshan takes to get involved in the GBA development, including the newly completed national major instrument science park in Tsuihang New District, the ongoing campaign to renovate  inefficient industrial parks in rural areas, and the business environment improvement.

Currently, Zhongshan is seizing the opportunities of the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge to coordinate with Shenzhen and Hong Kong in industrial planning. The 68,000-square-meter national major instrument science park, which is built by Zhongshan and operated by Shenzhen, was completed in Tsuihang New District, the closest area in Zhongshan to the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge.

Zhongshan has also coordinated with Shenzhen to optimize its business environment. It has rolled out an action plan and 160 measures, covering  7 major aspects including to deepen reform of the IPO management, smoothing communication channels between government and enterprises, etc.

On the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday, Zhongshan issued "Nine New Policies Benefitting Enterprises". Driven by these policies, over 2.01 million employees have returned to work in Zhongshan, a returning rate of over 70%. Most enterprises have resumed normal production so far.
