Over 100 ships find shelter in Qijiang River to avoid Utor
2013-08-14

To avoid typhoon Utor, more than 120 ships sail into Qijiang River for shelter. Seen from Qingxi Road, the 20-meter-long ships standing in a row alongside Eastern bank of Qijiang look quite impressive with flying red flags. According to National Meteorological Center of CMA, Utor is expected to make landfall in coastal areas of Guangdong at daytime of Aug. 14, so many fishing ships at sea seek shelter from the typhoon in Qijiang River.
