Su visited the Zhongshan Museum and the Zhongshan History Museum of Overseas Chinese, where he learned about the city's efforts on cultural development, overseas Chinese resources protection and overseas Chinese history inheritance in recent years.

Su said the last time he returned to Zhongshan was in 2020, and this time he found great changes had taken place in the city. He believed that the Zhongshan History Museum of Overseas Chinese would help to showcase the overseas Chinese hometown culture, the history of overseas Chinese and their current conditions, and enhance emotional connection between Chinese people at home and abroad. It is a good place worth visiting.

Su, with his roots in Guzhen Town, is also a writer and a literary critic. His masterpieces include The Invisible Valley, Into Yale, etc.
