Liang Guihua, a 37-year-old disabled cyclist from Zhongshan, won the bronze medal with a time of 3 minutes 34.781 seconds in the final of the C2 3000m Individual Pursuit in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games on the afternoon of August 26.

It was the third time Liang has competed in the Paralympic Games on behalf of the Chinese para-cycling team. He won gold medals in the men's C2 3000m Individual Pursuit in the London 2012 Paralympic Games and in Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, both setting a new world record at that time.

In the next few days, Liang would also participate in three other events: C1-3 1000m Time Trial, C1-3 Road Race, and C2 Cycling Road Time Trial.
